Hannah Williams understands the importance of good emotional wellbeing

As an osteopath I work closely with a lot of older people and one of the things that always strikes me most is how isolated and lonely life can be for them.

It is my job to make sure that they are comfortable physically but we often forget 'good health' is much more than just the physical.

This is where MHA step in and provide that extra piece of the picture that is often overlooked, but so important. Their Live at Home schemes mean that older people can remain part of the community and regain their sense of value and confidence.

We need more of the these schemes to help reduce isolation and loneliness for old people.

The great thing about fundraising for MHA is that it is based around having fun - it really is the best fundraising for ages!
