Kilimanjaro Summit Climb
24 January - 4 February 2018
Reach the summit of the world’s highest free-standing mountain - the roof of Africa!
Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the most impressive sights in Africa and climbing it is one of the all time great achievements. Rising majestically from the Savannah lands of northern Tanzania, Kilimanjaro soars to a chilling 5,895m high peak. Our challenge is to get off the beaten track on our uncrowded route, trekking above the sea of clouds to the summit.
We begin in the lush rainforests of the Lemosho Glades where you can see elephants, buffalo and monkeys, before climbing towards the Shira Plateau. The feeling you get as you climb Kilimanjaro and watch the sun rise over the vast African plains is truly an incredible experience. From here we can see our goal: the ice-capped peak of Kibo. We follow the impressive Southern Flank, Barranco Wall and Barafu Route until you trek through the clouds to the summit.
The Kilimanjaro climb might be one of the toughest trekking challenges in the world - but with proper training and determination, you can conquer it! Get one step closer to achieving an incredible goal. Something that you will remember and be proud of for the rest of your life!
